RULES, SUGGESTIONS & AWARDSRules and Suggestions
No participant shall wear headphones or any sound producing device during the race (results in disqualification).
Participants without helmets approved by the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) are NOT allowed to race. NO EXCEPTIONS.
The water will be shallow enough for your child to walk or stand up if he or she needs to. If they can swim their specific distance, please encourage them to do so as it makes for a more realistic experience.
We STRONGLY SUGGEST that your child NOT carry a water bottle on their bike.
There is a lot to be aware of on the bike course. A water bottle is a distraction and can be a major hazard if one is dropped on the road.
All participants will receive a a super cool t-shirt and other great freebies. The awards ceremony will be held near the finish line at approximately 30 minutes after the finish of each heat.
